Expression of tuberin is associated with reduction of total FAK in MDCK cells. The whole cell lysate of MDCK cells was immunoblotted for FAK and beta-actin. The ratio of FAK/beta-actin was determined by densitometry. Results are representative of three independent experiments. A 2.5–5-fold decrease in the amount of total FAK was seen for tuberin-expressing cell lines (T1, T2 and T8) compared to pMSCVneo vector control cell lines (P2 and P3)
