Two-color FISH analysis of YM cells showing the IL-21R/BCL6 fusion gene. Two BAC clones corresponding to BCL6 (AC072022) and IL-21R (AC004525) were directly labeled with SpectrumOrange and SpectrumGreen, respectively, and hybridized with metaphase preparations. Fusion signals (yellow) between the two genes are identified on not only a der(3)t(3;16) chromosome but also an interphase nucleus (arrow). Since most of the IL-21R clone was translocated to the der(3) chromosome, no fusion signals were visible on the der(16)
