A Projected Art of Light

Naturevolume 120pages78 (1927) | Download Citation

THE project of an art of night, analogous to music, threatens to become an obsession, recurring in every, generation, attacking indiscriminately philosopher, artist, and empirical scientist. It is particularly insidious because it cannot be flatly dismissed as a mere chimera. There may be something in it, and there is no alternative but to think the matter out.
