Abstract
THIS book aims at giving a thorough grounding to students of superior ability who have a keen interest in their subject. From many points of view it is deserving of high commendation, but the reviewer rather hesitates to recommend it to students in Great Britain, until at least they have passed their examinations. The difficulty is that the authors have introduced some radical change, into ordinary nomenclature. In some cases these changes are desirable, but in other cases they will be apt to lead to confusion at the present time.
