Abstract
THIS book indeed fills a gap. Not since 1897, when the second edition of Evans's “Ancient Stone Implements …” appeared, has there been any attempt to study systematically the palaeolithic history of Britain. The present volume only deals with a small portion of the story, but it is to be hoped that the author will not stop short and that further work on the other periods will appear later to complete the picture.
The Upper Palæolithic Age in Britain.
