    Abstract

IT is difficult for the lay mind to appreciate the possibilities of an architectural venture until at last the scaffolds are withdrawn and the finished building stands forth for all to see—to praise or to blame. It has been thus with the steady building up of our present system of agricultural research and education. It is only now, as the scaffolds are being slowly re moved, that we can realise to the full the scope of the edifice which it has been sought to erect.
