Abstract
In the second part of the paper on the Westleton beds, by Prof. Prestwich, recently published in the Quarterly Journal of the Geological Society (vol. xlvi. p. 152), a section of the Brentwood railway cutting is given, which is, if possible, of more interest from the Eocene beds described than from its bearing on the questions dealt with in the paper.
