Abstract
SOME months ago, Mr. Fereirra, a member of my congregation, informed me that he had shot some time previously a bird in the early morning which neither he nor any of his neighbours had seen before. From his description of it I concluded that it probably belonged to the goat-suckers, and on examination of the skin I find that the supposition is correct.
