DR. SPOTTISWOODE began by referring to the losses which the Society has sustained by death during the past year:—Prof. Miller, Dr. Sharpey, Mr. Lassell, Prof. Ansted, Lord Helper, Mr. E. W. Cooke, and Sir Benjamin Collins Brodie.
