Spectroscopic prévision of Rain with a High Barometer


THAT the spectroscope should play a part in the prediction of weather for the common purposes of life was an early thought with many; but I have not heard of its resources being very distinctly appealed to in the late series of most memorable μɛτɛωρα of the atmosphere which have passed over this country, setting nearly at naught most other methods of prediction.
