A noninvasive test for endothelial dysfunction

Coronary endothelial dysfunction predicts cardiovascular events and is reversible and, therefore, its early detection is important. A recent paper by Bonetti et al. shows that measurement of endothelial function in peripheral vessels might provide a noninvasive means of identifying patients with this condition.
