Movement disorders are a group of neurological syndromes in which the hallmark symptom is paucity of movement, excessive and/or involuntary movement or tremor. Movement disorders can be neurodegenerative, such as Parkinson's disease and Huntington's disease, but they can also be induced by medication, infection, inflammation or trauma.
