Contacting the editor
All journals have a contacts page with the
address, telephone and fax of the editor. Simply
select your journal and choose "Editor" from the
links on the left. Full details are given on
submission style, online submissions, copyright,
and the editor to whom you should send your paper
in the instructions to authors.
Contacting the
publisher about the progress of your
manuscript
If your manuscript has not yet been accepted for
publication please contact the editor. If your
manuscript has been accepted for publication,
please contact the production controller. Select
your journal and choose "contact us" from the
list of links on the left. If your manuscript has
not yet been accepted please contact the editor.
Length of publication time
of an accepted manuscript
This varies between journals, but the average
time is three months.
Numbers of free
offprints
Most journals offer 25 FREE offprints, but you
can also order larger quantities at the time of
publication. See the contacts page for your
journals to contact the offprint co-ordinator if
you have any queries about your order form.
Further reprints of articles can also be ordered
after publication using our online order form or
by contacting the reprint office.
Features added to the
online articles
Articles are published online immediately on
publication of the print issues. Abstracts are
sent to Medline if appropriate, within 48 hours.
Full-text HTML articles have references linked to
Medline.
Advance online publication
Fully typeset articles in both PDF and full text versions will be uploaded to the Journal�s website on a weekly basis. Advance Online Publication (AOP) is deemed to be a paper's official date of publication, information is made available to the appropriate indexing and abstracting services, and the articles are citable using Digital Object Identifier (DOI). authors
To find the instructions to authors for your
journal, go to the list of journals, click on the
journal name, then select "instructions to
authors" from the list of links on the left. If
you have any queries about the content of the
manuscript please contact the editor. If you have
any queries about the presentation of figures,
tables, or colour charges please contact the
production controller (details are on the
"Contact us" page.)
Copyright forms
All authors are requested to complete a copyright
form on submission of the manuscript. For a copy
of this please contact the editorial office
concerned.
