One Year On!

This week (yesterday, in fact) marks one year since Accumulating Glitches launched on the revamped Scitable network! Since our inaugural post on the species question, we've covered a range of topics from the mating system of the mangrove killifish (a species with no females) to what an ant farmer might make of human agriculture. We've written about familiar creatures like birds and whales, as well as more technical topics like how recombination is regulated or where genes come from. I've had a great time blogging here, and I hope you've enjoyed our posts!

I'd like to take advantage of our first anniversary to get some feedback from you, our readers. What worked for you, and what didn't? What were some of your favourite posts from the past year? What would you like to see us do better in the coming year, or what topics do you think should get more attention? We don't get many comments on Accumulating Glitches, but I'm hoping you'll take this opportunity to be heard and help us improve the blog.

Finally, thanks to everyone who's read the blog or joined the discussion over the last year, and to the Scitable team for making it possible. I'll be taking a break from Accumulating Glitches for a few weeks, so the blog will be quiet until June 23rd. See you then!
