Abstract
Chris Walsh's landmark textbook on the post-translational modification (PTM) of proteins contains a precious, slender chapter on ADP-ribosylation. For decades, this field has been dominated by two classes of NAD+-metabolizing enzymes, PARP1 and the extracellular mono-ADP-ribosyltransferases (mARTs).
