Michael Wines & Paul Cozzi

Kaplan SA et al. (2006) Combination therapy with doxazosin and finasteride for benign prostatic hyperplasia in patients with lower urinary tract symptoms and a baseline total prostate volume of 25 ml or greater. J Urol 175: 217–221 Synopsis Background The Medical Therapy of Prostatic Symptoms (MTOPS) trial showed that combination therapy with doxazosin and finasteride was superior to either drug alone in reducing the risk of clinical progression of lower-urinary-tract symptoms in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
