Therapy: What should we do after the failure of a first anti-TNF?
Golimumab is a human monoclonal antibody targeting tumor necrosis factor (TNF) that is administered subcutaneously every 4 weeks. The agent was the focus of the GO-AFTER (golimumab after former anti-TNF therapy evaluated in rheumatoid arthritis [RA]) study—a multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled, phase III trial in patients with active RA who had failed treatment with one or more tumor necrosis factor inhibitors owing to an unsatisfactory response, drug intolerance or problems with accessing therapy.
