The Parkinson disease medications listed below could potentially confound the results of biochemical tests for pheochromocytoma:

  • Dopamine agonists, such as bromocriptine and apomorphine
  • Levodopa
  • Monoamine oxidase inhbitors, such as selegiline and rasagiline
  • Catechol-O-methyltransferase inhibitors, such as entacapone and tolcapone
  • Clonidine
