Top rows show axial diffusion-weighted images (DWIs) and bottom rows show axial perfusion-weighted images (PWIs). Blue areas demonstrate hypoperfused regions. White arrows point to DWI abnormalities in Broca's area and black arrows point to PWI abnormalities in Broca's area. After induced hypertension, the DWI shows minor petechial abnormalities in Broca's area, and the PWI is normal, indicating reperfusion.
