Robert W Schrier, MD, Professor of Medicine, was Chairman of the Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine for 26 years and Head of the Division of Renal Diseases and Hypertension for 20 years. He has authored over 900 scientific papers and edited 50 books in internal medicine, geriatrics, drug usage, and kidney disease. Dr Schrier is the Editor-in-Chief of Nature Clinical Practice Nephrology.
Raymond O Estacio
Raymond O Estacio, MD, is Director of the Medical Affairs Department at The Colorado Prevention Center (CPC). He has been Co-Principal Investigator of the Appropriate Blood Pressure Control in Diabetes (ABCD) trial since 2001. Dr Estacio has published numerous articles on the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease in high-risk diabetic patients.
Philip S Mehler
Philip S Mehler, MD, is Medical Director of the Acute Comprehensive Urgent Treatment for Eating Disorders (ACUTE) program in Denver, Chief of Internal Medicine at Denver Health Medical Center, and Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado Health Center. He is widely published and is a nationally known expert in the medical complications of eating disorders.
William R Hiatt
William R Hiatt, MD is President of the Colorado Prevention Center, Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Vascular Medicine Section at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He has over 120 peer-reviewed articles on a wide range of cardiology and vascular-related topics, and is currently Chair of the Cardiovascular and Renal Drugs Advisory panel for the FDA.
