The map shows the prevalence of cannabis use around the world between 2003 and 2004. Darker colours indicate higher levels of cannabis use, with the darkest colour indicating that >8% of the population have used cannabis during the previous year. Grey areas indicate countries for which data were not available; yellow areas indicate countries for which the extent of cannabis use is unknown.
