Cheryll Tickle

Cheryll Tickle began her research career by investigating how patterns of differentiated cells arise using chick embryos during her Ph.D. with Adam Curtis at Glasgow University, Glasgow, UK. After a postdoctoral position at Yale University in the USA with John Trinkaus, she returned to the United Kingdom to work on pattern formation in chick limb development with Lewis Wolpert at The Middlesex Hospital Medical School, London, UK. This problem has fascinated her ever since.
