First oral therapies for multiple sclerosis anticipated
Abstract
In September, Merck Serono submitted a new drug application for cladribine for the treatment of relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS). In the same month, Novartis reported positive results from its placebo-controlled Phase III trial of fingolimod (also known as FTY720), also in patients with RRMS (Table 1).
