Hematology: Follicular lymphoma: maintenance therapy is (often) indicated
Abstract
Disseminated follicular lymphoma remains incurable despite recent advances in therapy (with the exception of allogeneic transplantation). Each episode of disease recurrence and re-treatment is associated with impaired quality of life (QOL); however, the quality of response and duration of remission tend to diminish with each cycle of relapse and re-treatment.
