Leukaemia: Mixed up
Abstract
Rearrangements of the mixed-lineage leukaemia (MLL) gene are common in both acute myeloid and acute lymphoid leukaemia (AML and ALL). However, the nature of the leukaemic stem cell (LSC) and the influence of environmental cues in MLL-associated leukaemias are poorly understood.
