Maternal immune activation decreases glutamatergic synapse density on cerebellar Purkinje neurons from newborn offspring. MIA results in fewer dendritic spines with GluRd2 puncta and fewer spines with GluRd2 that are contacted by VGluT1 containing presynaptic terminals.
