Abstract
Developing a nanostructure fabrication technology that allows precise and reliable mass-production is essential if photonic crystal devices are to have a major role in integrated optical circuits. This is one of the key points made at the recent meeting on Integrated Photonics and Nanophotonics Research and Applications (IPNRA).
