Nanotechnology and society: The evolution of risk perceptions
Abstract
There is a reciprocal link between the development of nanotechnology and research into public perceptions of risk. The advent of nanotechnology offers a unique opportunity to examine the evolution of public risk perceptions because such a large fraction of the public still knows next to nothing about this new science.
