GFP fails to inhibit actin-myosin interactions in vitro

To the editor: In a Correspondence in Nature Methods, Agbulut et al. reported dysregulation of calcium excitation-contraction coupling in myoblasts associated with enhanced GFP (eGFP) expression. Additional biochemical analysis led to the conclusion that eGFP directly inhibits the actin-myosin interaction.
