DNA nanotechnology: Hot and sticky or cold and aloof

The physical and chemical properties of microparticles and nanoparticles makes them promising as miniature devices, with potential applications in all areas of science and engineering. For many applications, the use of these particles requires the formation of morphologically controlled assemblies.
