Nanocontacts: The importance of being entangled
Abstract
The famous play The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde is a satire of the moral standards and hypocrisy of Victorian society. Drawing an analogy between this 1895 play and quantum mechanics (our best possible description of the physical world, which was crafted in the early decades of the twentieth century), might seem improbable.
