Abstract
Nanomaterials have become increasingly important in|[nbsp]|the development of new molecular probes for in|[nbsp]|vivo imaging, both experimentally and clinically. Nanoparticulate imaging probes have included semiconductor quantum dots, magnetic and magnetofluorescent nanoparticles, gold nanoparticles and nanoshells, among others.
