Cyclooxygenase-2: The future is now

Anil K. Rustgi

Gastrointestinal Unit, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts 02114, USA email: rustgi@helix.mgh.harvard.edu

A new generation of NSAIDs selectively and irreversibly inhibits cyclooxygenase-2—an enzyme that regulates several cellular processes involved in colon cancer development including angiogenesis.
