Abstract
Inhibition of p53 rescues facial defects in a mouse model of an inherited craniofacial syndrome, Treacher Collins (pages 125–133).
Craniofacial abnormalities comprise approximately one-third of all birth defects and often require multiple rounds of surgery to repair the malformations. To date, prevention has not been possible.
