Glaucoma associations
Six single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) have been associated with primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) in a Japanese population. Replicating the results of the Japanese study on an Indian population, researchers have found no significant association of these SNPs with POAG1.
