Abstract
12 February marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin. As the world prepares to celebrate Darwin Day and the 150th anniversary of the publication of On the Origin of Species in October, attention is — quite rightly — focused on Darwin's contributions to our understanding of evolution and life on Earth.
