Space science: Waves from whistlers
Abstract
From the standpoint of near-Earth space scientists, a solar wind event between 11 and 14 November 2004 provided the perfect (magnetic) storm. Although not the largest magnetic storm of the solar cycle, the period qualified as a magnetic superstorm.
