The Genomics of Common Diseases
Location
The meeting will be hosted by the Wellcome Trust Conference Centre, The Wellcome Trust Genome Campus, Hinxton, Cambridge, UK. The high-tech and comfortable purpose built conference facilities are located alongside the world famous Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and the European Bioinformatics Institute, in a rural parkland setting of 130 acres. Housing
The housing packages include registration, all food (including banqueting) and accommodation for the nights of the 7th, 8th and 9th July 2007. Delegates in twin accommodation will be sharing a room with another delegate – please specify your room mate’s name and contact details if you have a preference of room share partner. Additional nights will be at an additional cost; please contact the Wellcome Trust for availability. A limited amount of on-site accommodation will be available. This will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Once all on-site accommodation has been allocated, delegates requesting accommodation will be advised to make their own arrangements in Cambridge.
The no-housing package includes all costs except accommodation.
Delegates with special requirements, please identify this on the registration form under Special Requirements. For instance, if accommodation before or after the meeting is required, disabilities, food allergies, etc.
Payment
Registration will be confirmed and payment will be requested 6 weeks prior to the meeting. You will be sent an invoice via the e-mail address you provided and asked to pay using the on-line payment system.
Travel

- London City and London Luton Airports are about one hour’s drive.
- London Heathrow and London Gatwick Airports are about one and a half hours’ drive.

- Cambridge is on the main line from London King's Cross. Whittlesford, Great Chesterford and Audley End stations are on the line from London Liverpool Street to Cambridge. The journey time from London is under an hour.
- Whittlesford and Great Chesterford stations do not have a taxi rank or telephone. Please use either Cambridge or Audley End stations if a taxi has not been pre-booked.
- By Road:

- Cambridge: single (one way) is £25.00 and return (roundtrip) is £32.00. They also provide services from Gatwick Airport and Stansted Airport to Cambridge.
