Lung stem cells in the balance
Abstract
Since the discovery and sequencing of Drosophila wingless more than 20 years ago, many more members of the Wnt family have been identified. The study on page 862 of this issue by Yuzhen Zhang and colleagues provides new insight into the role of Wnt signaling in lung epithelial cells, both during development and after injury.
