Shedding light on skin cancer
Abstract
Cutaneous melanoma (CM) tends to cluster in families, with a twofold increase in disease risk in those with an affected first-degree relative. The risk associated with an affected second-degree relative is smaller, consistent with a genetic component to disease susceptibility.
