Cell cycle micromanagement in embryonic stem cells
Abstract
Embryonic stem (ES) cells are derived from the inner cell mass of an early-stage embryo known as a blastocyst. ES cells can differentiate into all cell types of the adult body and, in the absence of stimuli, can infinitely divide without losing the capacity of self-renewal.
