Universities struggle as value of endowments falls

Tough decisions need to be made about how to cut costs.

  • i have little sympathy for institutes and universities with large endowments. regardless of the value of their endowments the centers increase the tuitions and fees of the students year after year. i'm supposed to feel sympathy for the admin sitting on a nest egg of billions. i've seen the inner workings. i know better. i'll save my mirror neurons for someone that deserves my empathy.
