So far, I have proceeded to buy _all_ of the books that I previewed using Google Book Search. Without this type of extended preview, it is unlikely that I would have purchased books on difficult to explain subjects (like statistics) where the majority of the texts are both high priced and virtually incomprehensible. Since Google was actually serving as a marketing tool for the previewed books, this settlement seem one-sided.
