Non-invasive thermometer checks tissue hot spots
Magnetic resonance imaging technique could help to target heat therapy for cancer.
Doctors could soon get precise temperature readings from inside the body, without using probes or needles, thanks to a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technique. Its inventors believe that it could improve the viability of medical therapies that involve heating tissue.

General Practitioner for 44 years, Researcher on physical semeiotics for 53 years, and founder of Quantum Biophysical Semeiotics, I know that: A) the best therapy of all is primary prevention; B)not to speak of chemiotherapy..., cancer surgical therapy is efficacious when performed in very early stage, especially asymptomatic. Well! How is it realizable the selection of the majority of patients, suffering for initial symptomless cancer among individuals apparently healthy? Certainly, such as expensive method, i.e., magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technique, is not possible in whatever western country. Once again, I advice to read my comments on www.nature.com, aiming to spread new concepts and new way in the war against cancer:Quantum Biophysical Semeiotics and Cancer Inherited Real Risk in www.nature.com: http://blogs.nature.com/news/thegreatbeyond/2008/07/newsweak_darwin_vs_lincoln.html#comments http://blogs.nature.com/nm/spoonful/2008/07/product_placement.html#comments http://network.nature.com/forums/askthenatureeditor/1846?page=1#reply-5181 ; http://blogs.nature.com/nm/spoonful/2008/05/our_new_columns_narrowing_the.html#comments , and especially http://blogs.nature.com/nm/spoonful/2008/04/stress_as_a_therapy_1.html#comments http://blogs.nature.com/news/thegreatbeyond/2008/07/new_drug_for_prostate_cancer_e.html#comments http://blogs.nature.com/nature/journalclub/2008/02/nicholas_katsanis.html#comments http://blogs.nature.com/nm/spoonful/2008/08/the_best_defense_against_biowa.html#comments http://blogs.nature.com/news/thegreatbeyond/2008/08/bush_going_green_in_the_deep_b.html#comments http://www.nature.com/news/2008/080828/full/news.2008.1068.html?q=2#last-comment http://www.nature.com/news/2008/080902/full/news.2008.1076.html?q=2#last-comment http://www.nature.com/news/2008/080917/full/news.2008.1116.html?q=2#last-comment http://www.nature.com/news/2008/080923/full/news.2008.1124.html?q=2#last-comment http://blogs.nature.com/news/thegreatbeyond/2008/10/election_watch.html#comments
