RNA tackles HIV
Antibodies help to deliver interfering RNA sequences to immune-system cells.
Short strands of RNA can help to dramatically suppress HIV infection in mice, according to scientists who have developed a method that uses antibodies to deliver the RNA directly into immune cells.
Combinations of anti-retroviral drugs have made great strides in controlling HIV infections, but these drugs come with drawbacks.
