Can information get back out of black holes?
A new theory predicts that not everything is swallowed up forever.
If you were sucked into a black hole, you wouldn't stand a chance. But new calculations suggest that some things might survive travelling to the heart of the Universe's darkest objects.

Doesn't the uncertainty principle prevent singularities from forming in the first place?
Quoting... "And at the black hole's centre lies the 'singularity', a single point where mass becomes infinite and the laws of gravity break down". Am I right in thinking that the mass of the black hole is not infinite? If the mass were infinite, then the gravitational field generated by the black hole would also be infinite - and everything in the universe would immediately fall into it. I am right in thinking that it is the 'density' of the centre of the black hole which is infinite?
Beyond the black hole Schwarzschild radius (event horizon), our space and time are reversed. This would imply that as the space shrinks to zero, time approaches infinity. This would somehow oppose the Big Bang theory.
