Do things fall differently in little galaxies?
Theorist claims that 'dwarf galaxies' are best explained by tweaks to gravity.
An analysis of the motion of stars in six tiny galaxies suggests that gravity there might be stronger than it is in the Milky Way.
Garry Angus of the University of St Andrews, UK, who studies the motion of cosmic bodies, says that he was able to explain the movements of these galaxies' stars by assuming that they are under the influence of a modified version of gravity.
