Your history is printed in your hair
Chemical imprint from local water leaves an identifiable 'signature'.
The tap water that you drink leaves a 'signature' in your hair that can provide a history of where you’ve lived, according to researchers. Using these imprints to trace people's past movements may eventually become a common tool for anthropologists and law-enforcement officials.

I think all you experienced will leave print in your life and have influence on your soul or body.
Its ok that hair gives history. But if we trim our hairs then what? The recent changes(4 to 6 months) may not get detected.
I guess I can't be traced because I filter my water. Still another good HEALTHY reason to not consume city water in its polluted state.
Christopher Scott: filtering your water won't make a difference. It's *isotopes* they are detecting, not elements. I don't know of any home filters that filter out deuterium.
