Natural history museum gets green face-lift

California scientists to move into Earth-friendly building.

From its roof garden to its forests, fish, penguins and bats, the new headquarters of the California Academy of Sciences will be teeming with life when it opens to the public late next year.

But the museum won’t just preach about saving Earth’s gems.
