Balloon takes telescope to great heights
Test flight helps to prove use of balloons for cheap astronomy.
It’s not hot air: balloon astronomy is rising.
Earlier this month, a giant 100-metre-wide balloon soared into the skies above New Mexico, carrying a 2,500 kilogram gondola of scientific instruments.
